SimpleGlucose Progress
February 6, 2009
The past week has seen lots of SimpleGlucose development.
I have had to replace the data storage code which used the Microsoft Jet engine because there were no 64 bit drivers for Jet, and no signs of a driver ever being written. I have mostly finished the graphing functionality too; thanks to the fantastic ZedGraph component.
So far I am on track for the March 1st release, but there is still lots to do! I am currently working on the printing functionality and putting a licence key protection thingymabob in, too.
As far as other non-technical work has gone, I have chosen E-Junkie as an all-in-one solution to take payments and handle the downloads. They do provide an impressive service – licence key management, download links that expire and really simple Paypal integration. After trying their 1p demo purchase I was sold!
So there you have it – thats where SimpleGlucose is at present. I’ll keep you posted.
